Positive behaviour for learning

At Mortdale Pulic School, Morty our school mascot loves to lead by example and show students the best way to make the best of their experiences at Mortdale Public School. 

There's four rules Morty follows: 

• be safe
• be an active learner 
• be respectful and 
• be responsible 

You may have seen the four giant pencils in our school garden or Morty's colourful signs around the playground. They're there to help Morty promote excellence in every student's day to day experiences.

• we always walk, not run 
• we play in the right place 
• we always wear a hat

• we teacher directions 
• we take turns using equipment

• we clean up after ourselves 
• we look after equipment
