A year at our school
Dance Eisteddfod
Mortdale Public School’s talented dancers took to the iconic Sydney Opera House stage at the 2026 Sydney Eisteddfod, achieving outstanding results across all three categories entered! Our students represented Mortdale with incredible talent, teamwork and pride coming home with a 1st place and two 2nd places!
100 Days of Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten students celebrated 100 days of school by wearing colourful clothing to represent being "100 days brighter" and taking part in a range of fun activities, including building with 100 blocks, stacking 100 cups, creating 100 charts, and doing 100 exercises. The festivities continued with a surprise disco at the end of the day featuring glowing decorations, music, and colouring with glow-in-the-dark markers under UV lights. Congratulations, Kindergarten on reaching this exciting milestone!
Performances by the Band
Our school band delivered a series of dynamic and creative performances that captivated audiences and showcased the students’ musical talents. Through a diverse repertoire, the band demonstrated teamwork, dedication, and growing confidence on stage.
These performances provided students with valuable opportunities to express themselves, develop their skills, and experience the joy of making music together. The positive energy and creativity of the band truly enriched our school community and celebrated the power of music education.
