Facilities and resources
Mortdale Public School offers modern facilities and a range of resources to support an engaging and dynamic learning environment. Our students from Kindergarten to Year 4 use iPads regularly, while senior students participate in a Bring Your Own Device (B.Y.O.D.) program. Spacious sports fields and well-maintained play areas provide excellent spaces for physical education and recreational activities. These facilities, combined with specialist support staff, enable us to cater to the diverse academic and creative needs of our students, fostering growth and success in every area.

School hall- Our spacious school hall serves as a hub for assemblies, performances, and community events. This space brings students together and supports a wide range of activities.
Variety of playgrounds- Our playgrounds provide safe and engaging environments where students can be active, socialise, and develop teamwork and physical skills. These spaces include soft-fall areas, grass spaces, handball courts, and a basketball half court catering to a variety of interests and abilities, supporting positive play, friendships, and overall wellbeing.
Covered Outdoor Learning Areas (COLA)- Our two outdoor covered learning areas offer alternate spaces where students can learn, collaborate, and play in all weather conditions. These environments support a range of activities and encourage creativity, teamwork, and connection with the outdoors.
Canteen- Our school canteen offers a variety food choices for students every Thursday and Friday.
Computer lab- Our computer lab gives students hands-on access to technology, supporting their digital literacy and learning across the curriculum. It’s a dynamic space where students can explore, create, and develop essential skills for the future.
Music space- Our music space is an engaging area where students explore instruments, develop their musical skills, and express creativity. It supports and fosters a love of music, encouraging teamwork and confidence.
